Job Description:
- Responsible for Planning, organizing and supervising product & process development work which meets all the regulatory requirements and aim to develop cost conscious formulations.
- Prioritize and execute the Submission Batch activities to meet the project timelines efficiently.
- To maintain equipments in ready condition for the execution of submission batches.
- Responsible for calibration of instruments, Qualification of Equipments and support the system in updating the SOPs.
- Work as a team and support our corporate values.
Job Responsibilities:
1. To plan and supervise the production process to produce quality formulation at optimum cost
2. To perform the Equipment qualification activities and documents for the same as protocols and reports
3. To maintain online documentation related to production activities on daily basis.
4. To maintain and safeguard the equipment and other properties of
5. To assist the Senior Research Scientist / Research scientist in the day-to-day functioning of the Pilot plant.
6. To generate and revise various documents like SOPs, Formats, Protocols, Reports, Master formulas, Packaging Order Masters etc., for the Pilot plant.
7. To calibrate instruments as per schedule and to generate and maintain records.
8. To provide necessary support for the Formulation development scientists in carrying out process optimization trials at the Pilot Plant.
9. To allocate job responsibilities for senior technicians, Technicians, Technician in charge, Housekeeping and contract labourers in pilot plant area.
10. To maintain the safety and housekeeping practices at work place by effective training of house-keeping personnel and operators.
11. To train the operators on quality systems, procedures, operational needs and online documentation.
To take feasibility trials and optimization trials and generate the documents required for the execution of submission batches.
Qualifications :
1. Education: Master Degree in Pharmacy with specialization in Pharmaceutics / Industrial pharmacy
2. Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of Experience in Formulation development for regulated market.
3. Required to have the knowledge on formulation development and process development of Solid oral dosage forms for regulated markets like USA, Europe, Canada and Australia.
4. Desirable to have Formulation Development knowledge on Injectable, NDDS, semisolids and Liquids.
5. Should have a good understanding of Product development process and pharmaceutical testing.
6. Must have good understanding of clinical and regulatory requirements of USA, Canada, Australia, and European regulatory bodies.
7. Should possess good communication and interpersonal skills along with Computer efficacy in MS-Office and Internet.
