Job Title – Product Manager – Columns(CG)

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify present and future markets in line with the product portfolio and development direction to sustain the Company’s growth and profitability.
  2. Obtain and evaluate market feedback on the Company’s products and services and provide inputs to relevant development and support groups.
  3. Evaluate price perception of market and provide a feedback to the Management on optimum pricing to ensure a healthy market share as well as profitability.
  4. Gather information on and evaluate competitive products, policies and strategies to refine the Company’s sales strategy in each market segment.
  5. Plan and implement marketing initiatives (product seminars, workshops etc.) to facilitate high visibility, market share and profitability for the Company’s range of products and services.
  6. Obtain feedback on marketing initiatives and refine strategies to maximize impact.
  7. Customize brochures, application notes and other material to appeal to the needs of the local market.
  8. Provide regular feedback to the CBU Head & President about market developments and new business opportunities
  9. Gather information on regional events, scientific conferences and participate in them to ensure a high visibility for the Company’s range of products.
  10. Maintain a healthy customer database to ensure effective mail campaigns.
  11. Conduct regular training programs to improve technical abilities and selling skills of field sales personnel.

 

Qualifications:

– Msc. / PH. D in chemistry, Bio chemistry or related science.
– At least 12+ years work experience in sales / Marketing
– Exposure in Columns (Chromatography)
