Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of “Junior Research Fellow” under the following research project funded by the SERB, Government of India.

Title of the Research Project: Heteroatom-Guided, Palladium-catalyzed C-H Functionalization and Asymmetric Reduction as a New Strategy for the Synthesis of Biologically Important 4-aryltetrahydroisoquinolines and 3-aryltetrahydroisoquinolines

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (01 No.)

Qualification & Experience: First class M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (preferably with a specialization in Organic Chemistry) from a recognized University/Institute with valid NET (CSIR/UGC JRF) / NET (LS) / GATE. Some experience in organic synthesis would be preferred.

Age Limit: Applicant should not have completed 28 years of age as on Dec 31, 2016.

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + HRA (For CSIR/UGC JRF qualified) / Rs. 12000/- pm + HRA (For GATE qualified).

Duration: 6 months (Can be extended to up to One year subject to satisfactory performance).
