lications are invited from candidates for position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DBT funded project “Development of Nanoparticle or microparticle Adjuvanted Subunit Oral vaccine against poultry Salmonellosis” at Physical Sciences Division of Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati.Candidates with at least 55% aggregate marks in Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Nanotechnology with background in Chemistry/Biochemistry are encouraged to apply for the post. Title of the Project: “Development of Nanoparticle or microparticle Adjuvanted Subunit Oral vaccine against poultry Salmonellosis”
Duration: The selected applicant will be given appointment for initially one year which can be increased to 2 more years depending on the performance of the candidate during the appointed period.
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemistry / Nanotechnology with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Desirable Qualification/Qualities: GATE / NET/ NET-LS candidates will be given preference. The candidates should have strong background in Biochemistry/ Nanotechnology related areas with MSc dissertations done in these areas.
Fellowship:
- Rs. 25,000 + 20 % HRA per month for NET qualified candidates
- Rs. 12000 + 20 % HRA per month for non-NET qualified candidates (GATE/NET-LS)
Age limit: Not more than 28years as on 31-12-2016 Interview date will be declared later.
Once selected for the interview the candidate should bring their original mark-sheets and certificates.
No TA/DA will be provided by the institute for attending the interview
