The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) formerly known as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC), is a public engineering university at Surathkal, Mangalore. Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant

Project Title: High performance thermoelectric materials via band engineering.

Sponsoring Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), DST, New Delhi.

Position Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant

Fellowship: Rs. 25, 000/-for first two years and Rs. 28,000/-for the third year for candidates with CSIR-UGC-NET or GATE qualification. Rs. 14, 000/-for first two years and Rs. 16,000/-for the third year for others.

Tenure of Assignment: 1 year, extendable annually till completion of project, subject to satisfactory performance.

Qualification and Experience: M.Sc. in Chemistry with consistently good academic records. Candidate with specialization in materials/inorganic/physical chemistry. Candidate with relevant research experience will be given preference.
