Opening for JRF/ Project Assistant at Karnatak College, Dharwad

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the selection of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Assistant to work under Department of Science and Technology (DST)-Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored research project entitled “Physico-chemical and mechanical properties of ternary blend films for Food Packaging Applications ” under the direct supervision of Dr. Saraswati P. Masti, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Karnatak Science College, Dharwad– 580 001.

Name of the Position : Junior Research Fellow/ Project Assistant (01)

Duration : 4 Years

Funding Agency : DST-SERB, Government of India, New Delhi

Sanctioned Amount : Rs. 41,92,144/- (Forty one lakh ninety two thousand one hundred forty four only)

Qualifications : M.Sc. in Chemistry/M.Sc. in Polymer Science with minimum 55% Marks.

Preference will be given to NET qualified candidates.

JRF Salary : Rs. 16,000/- per month with HRA.

Terms and conditions will be as per the DST rules and guidelines and subject to the approval of DST.
