Walk-in-Interview for the post of JRF at IIT Guwahati

Walk in Interview for one post of Junior Research Fellow in a DBT funded Project under Unit of Excellence entitled “Investigating the Role of Protein Dynamics on the Function of few Intrinsically Disordered Proteins” at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. The appointment will be initially for One year, may be extended based on performance.

Qualification and Experience:

M.Sc in Chemistry/Physics/Life Sciences or B.Tech in any Engineering Branch with minimum of 60% aggregate marks. Candidate must have taken Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level or later. The age of the candidate should be less than 25 years. Candidate must have strong enthusiasm to work in the area of protein biophysics with a willingness to aggressively learn new techniques and concepts.

Fellowship:

For candidates who are NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified, this will be `25,000 per month plus HRA & Medical as admissible. For remaining it shall be `12,000 per month plus HRA & Medical as admissible.

The interview shall be held 10 am on 27 April 2016 in the Conference room at Department of BSBE, IIT Guwahati, Guwahati-781 039.
